Job Description

Overview The Northeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant and Operations Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly and deliver responsive service to members and community partners. The successful candidate will coordinate office administration, communications, events, and member services while managing multiple priorities with professionalism and initiative. This role is well suited to a proactive professional who enjoys organizing details, coordinating people and projects, and serving as a welcoming point of contact for the Chamber. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, and administrative workflows. Serve as a professional first point of contact for members, visitors, vendors, and community partners. Support membership services, including database updates, renewals, invoicing assistance, and member communications. Coordinate meetings, programs, events, registrations, materials, and follow-up communication. Support routine financial and operational activities, including preparing deposits, tracking expenses, compiling reports, and coordinating with vendors. Prepare newsletters, social media updates, flyers, agendas, meeting minutes, reports, and other NEKY Chamber communications. Maintain organized administrative systems, anticipate operational needs, and provide timely support to the Executive Director and Chamber leadership. Qualifications Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with databases, email marketing, bookkeeping software, or social media platforms is a plus. Prior experience in administrative support, office management, operations, event coordination. A positive, team-oriented approach and commitment to supporting local business and community growth. Pay:
$35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
