Job Summary Provide administrative, programmatic, and exceptional customer service support to the Workforce Solutions Division. Assist with office operations, data management, and communication with employers and community partners to ensure efficient service delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.
Job Duties:
Provide customer service and respond to inquiries from students, employers, and community partners. Maintain databases, records, and reports through data entry and document management. Prepare materials, correspondence, and presentations for meetings, workshops, and outreach activities. Conduct basic research to support workforce initiatives and program development. Support outreach efforts by promoting services, events, and resources through various communication channels. Perform general office and administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and organizing materials. Collaborate with Workforce Solutions staff on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). Ability to learn new software programs and office procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Professional and courteous when interacting with students, employers, community partners, and staff. Ability to handle information in a confidential and responsible manner. Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing quality service.
Preferred Qualifications:
The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least 6 credit hours at Gateway in an eligible program and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS.
