Administrative ClerkJob Description This Administrative Clerk position supports daily office operations in a fast-paced environment by providing dependable administrative assistance. The role requires a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and document processing while maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and general clerical tasks.
+ Manage emails and calendars to ensure efficient coordination of meetings, appointments, and internal communications.
+ Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure documents are properly organized and up to date.
+ Assist with document processing, including scanning and filing orders, to support day-to-day office operations.
+ Support the broader team with daily operational needs to ensure smooth and efficient office workflows.
+ Deliver responsive customer service by handling inquiries and assisting internal and external stakeholders as needed. Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of administrative or office support experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Excel and Outlook.
+ Demonstrated data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
+ Experience providing general clerical and administrative support, including filing and document management.
+ Customer service experience in an office or administrative setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience using email and calendar tools to coordinate schedules and internal communication.
+ Prior exposure to logistics or ERP systems, with interest in growing skills in these areas.
+ Ability to work independently and take initiative in a hands-on role.
+ Comfort with scanning, filing orders, and managing physical and electronic records.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting team operations. Work Environment This role operates in a fast-paced office environment with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position typically averages around 50 hours per week, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand and occasional overtime required with limited notice. The environment offers stable, high-demand work with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in logistics and ERP systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
