To Be Determined Job Description Join us for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide daily clerical support for two hours per day. This position plays an important role in helping the school run smoothly by supporting organizational tasks, communication, and basic office needs.

Position Details Hours:

2 hours per day

Contract Length:

186 days per year 170 student instructional days 7 planning days 9 extended days

Contract Adjustments:

Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Employment Status:

Part-time - INELIGIBLE for benefits

Employment Type:

11-month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

Documentation:

Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Compensation & Experience Credit Salary for the 2026-2027 school year will be based on Board approved salary schedule. 2025-2026 Pay Scale Starting Pay (Step 0): $15.98/hour Experienced Pay (Step 10): $19.67/hour We value experience! Previous experience working with students, intervention systems, and small-group instruction is strongly desired. New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.

Payroll Note:

While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
