David Wade Correctional Center is looking for a dependable and motivated individual who works in our medical records. The ability to assess options, weigh risks, and make sound decisions using available information and logical reasoning. Three years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Manage incoming calls by providing accurate information, directing inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer service Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical) to support efficient record retrieval and compliance Perform document scanning and digital record management to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and proper documentation storagePosition-Specific Details :

Current permanent status classified LA State employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if accepted. An employee selected for a promotion may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted. This posting may also be used to fill a vacancy as a temporary job appointment. If filled as a temporary job appointment, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.Compensation:
