The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred. Experience Requirements At least 2 years of administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office software. Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certifications is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and professionalism. A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Job Duties Greet visitors, vendors, and clients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative support tasks Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room usage Maintain office and reception areas in a clean and organized condition Assist with onboarding paperwork, visitor logs, and interview scheduling Support Accounts Payable functions and expense report processing after training Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and safety protocols Coordinate communication between departments to support daily operations Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting multiple departments or executive staff is beneficial. Experience with scheduling, document preparation, recordkeeping, and office coordination is preferred. Familiarity with business software, office equipment, and data entry systems is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and professionalism are well positioned for success as a Administrative Assistant. Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks. Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
