Job Description

Job Summary Pelican Rental Properties is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant and Content Creator to support daily office operations while also helping manage our online presence. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who is organized, communicates well, and enjoys both administrative work and creative tasks like social media and marketing content. This role involves handling phone calls, emails, lease paperwork, and work orders, while maintaining strong follow-up and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner Process, track, and follow up on maintenance work orders Assist with lease paperwork, tenant files, and general office organization Coordinate property showings and respond to rental inquiries Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members Handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion Create and manage content for social media, listings, and marketing efforts Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Prior office or property management experience preferred Comfortable with technology and property management software (AppFolio is a plus) Basic content creation skills (social media, photos, or marketing) preferred High school diploma or equivalent
