We are seeking an organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our patients, manage front-desk operations, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, do office and paperwork activities. Key Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and registration. Perform real-time insurance verification and assist with prior authorizations. Maintain accurate health records and enter patient billing/coding information.. Process payments, co-pays, and billing inquiries accurately. Requirements:
Spanish (highly recommend) Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience in a medical office or clinic. Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., AthenaHealth, eClinicalWorks, MediSoft, or similar). Knowledge of medical terminology, basic
CPT/ICD-10
codes, and HIPAA compliance. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Medical Assistant Certification preferred. Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Please note that this is a 100% administrative and office-based role. This position does not involve medical patient care.
