This is an on-site position with limited travel potential. The work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, and dusty conditions typical of an industrial setting. The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following: Complete customer service duties for branch locations. Manage branch cylinder replenishment orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Verify Trackabout transfer and fill actions for accuracy. Schedule and oversee cylinder audits. Manage various Trackabout activities including collision resolution, verifications, and truckloads. Maintain timecards for hourly employees. Interface with drivers on delivery manifest and driver tickets verification. Interface with Purchasing Department regarding various materials required for cylinder maintenance and other plant requirements. Complete necessary cycle counting and inventory control of products; adjust inventory with purchasing department and perform required computer transactions. As required, receive new items and enter into ERP; fill back orders and assist in shipping/receiving duties. Assist with such other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.Benefits Excellent Health Benefits Package:

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent experience; electrical training program completion preferable.Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years progressively responsible experience preferably in welding supplies business. Strong mechanical aptitude.Skills & Abilities:
Effectively work with customers and internal employees in identifying product need or application. Exhibit willingness to serve customer in a professional manner. Able to work in varied weather conditions and business locations—loading dock, hospitals, outdoors, etc. Ability to arrive at fair and logical decisions concerning return of defective products, customer credit issues or other customer/sales related problem.Similar jobs in Shreveport, LA
