We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to join a higher education setting and help create a welcoming, supportive experience for students, faculty, and staff. In this role, you'll be a key point of contact, helping manage appointments, communications, records, and day-to-day administrative needs. The ideal candidate is someone who can stay calm under pressure, protect confidential information, and provide excellent service even when conversations become challenging.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a warm and professional first point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments. Scan and organize student applications and documentation. Maintain accurate and detailed records of incoming communications and administrative activity. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Use Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, as well as Adobe/Foxit and database systems. Utilize Salesforce to manage information and administrative workflows. Provide exceptional customer service while confidently setting appropriate boundaries. Help keep a busy office organized, efficient, and welcoming.
What You Bring:
Previous administrative, office support, or customer service experience. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience with Outlook, Excel, Adobe/Foxit, databases, and Salesforce is a plus. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to de-escalate difficult situations while remaining professional, patient, and fair. A warm, approachable personality with a genuine desire to help others.
