REQUIREMENTS
This position involves handling classified information. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Department of Defense security clearance. A pre-employment background investigation is required.
Description:
A leading research and development organization in Bedford, MA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic technical team working on advanced communications, networking, and national security initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys being the person who keeps a busy office running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating with people at all levels, and learning established processes and systems. Because this role supports a technical environment with sensitive information, confidentiality, professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detail are essential. What Youll Do Provide day-to-day administrative support to a busy technical group Manage calendars, schedule meetings, conferences, and other group events Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities Coordinate and track group training requirements Help organize, standardize, and maintain administrative processes Answer phones and provide professional communication with internal and external contacts Coordinate visitor access and escort visitors as required Process expense reports, timesheets, forms, and other administrative documentation Process electronic shopping carts and purchasing card (PCard) transactions Maintain office supplies and organized paper and electronic files Prepare correspondence, memoranda, presentations, and other documents Assist with special projects and other administrative needs as they arise Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately What Were Looking For High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred Administrative experience in a professional office environment Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, courteous, and confident communication style Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization Strong listening, problem-solving, and judgment skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn established processes Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with SAP/SRM or electronic document management systems is a plus Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits Hiring Range:
$58,450-$76,948 annually The final salary offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, education/training, internal equity, and applicable legal requirements.
