KINISI is seeking a dependable and personable Administrative Assistant to join our front office team. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome. In addition to receptionist responsibilities, the position involves assisting with insurance verification and supporting the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations.Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist Duties:
Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor Answer phones, route calls, and take messages as needed Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person Collect and process patient intake forms and co-paysInsurance & Administrative Support:
Verify insurance coverage and benefits prior to patient appointments Communicate with insurance companies to confirm patient eligibility Inform patients of their coverage and any potential out-of-pocket expenses Assist with pre-authorizations and referrals as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system Support billing processes with necessary documentation and follow-upsGeneral Administrative Tasks:
Perform data entry, filing, and clerical duties as assigned Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient flow Assist with inventory and ordering of office supplies Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to HIPAA regulationsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting a plus Familiarity with insurance verification processes strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning EMR systems Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentWorking Hours:
Monday-Friday, Full-Time (Exact schedule to be discussed during interview)What We Offer:
