HOLIDAY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Purpose:
River Valley Co-op has an exciting opportunity for a seasonal position to assist the management team during the busy holiday season. This position will provide many different services to different managers based on operational needs. This may include product organization, retail floor coordination/customer service, accounting, and product inventory. The ideal candidate will be open to a flexible schedule to meet operational demand and provide exceptional customer service in a consistently busy environment during an important family food holiday. Three aspects of the job are key: customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. Desired Qualities The Holiday Administrative Assistant is energized by well-executed plans and inspiring solutions to the unexpected. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL
Customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to prioritize projects and tasks. Ability to work productively and independently. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite. Ability to alphabetize in English.
FUNCTIONAL
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work in a cold environment. Ability to stand for an extended period. Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Comfort answering and placing phone calls. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functional job duties.
