Job Description
Staff Assistant
- Patient Placement Team | Baystate Health Baystate Health is seeking a part-time Staff Assistant to support the Manager of Patient Placement at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative materials
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and department communications
- Receive and respond to telephone calls, visitors, and routine inquiries
- Maintain department records, files, and administrative systems
- Assist with department budgets, purchasing, invoices, and expenses
- Collaborate professionally with hospital leadership, medical staff, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of office or medical practice experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets
Schedule & Location:
- Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, business hours
- Approximately 8:00 AM-2:00 PM or 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, with some flexibility

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.Education:
