Job Description:
A well-regarded nonprofit organization in the Boston area is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will provide administrative support across general office operations, publications, and member relations activities. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who is looking to grow within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and collection of membership assessments as directed Plan and coordinate semi-annual hybrid meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, logistical support, and distribution of follow-up communications Support business development activities including material preparation and data entry into Salesforce Maintain communications tools including distribution lists, website pages, and member login credentials Maintain organized archives of all relevant organizational materials Assist in the production, formatting, proofreading, and editing of reports and publications; track drafts through the publication process and prepare related correspondence Provide general administrative support to the Administrative Manager as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and relevant administrative experience, ideally in a research, publishing, consulting, or professional services environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative Resourceful and proactive in finding information and solutions from within and outside the organization High attention to detail with the ability to execute accurately and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose and proofread correspondence, memoranda, and reports Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills Genuine desire to learn and grow professionally Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce Compensation:
