$20-$27 per hour, based on experience About Us We are a growing electrical contracting company providing electrical and life-safety services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We take pride in completing projects on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards. We are seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Operations & Project Administrator to support our office operations and electrical projects. Position Overview This is a hands-on position supporting projects from scheduling through completion. The successful candidate will communicate with customers, field technicians, vendors, inspectors, and management while keeping schedules, paperwork, permits, invoices, and project information organized. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, able to manage multiple priorities, and willing to take ownership of assignments and follow them through to completion. Ideal Candidate 2-5 years of administrative, construction, contracting, or project-coordination experience preferred Electrical or construction industry experience is a strong plus Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable working independently in a small-business environment Strong customer-service and communication skills, both written and verbal Able to communicate professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel Able to learn electrical and construction terminology and basic project workflows Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office QuickBooks experience preferred Professional, dependable, proactive, and willing to learn This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow beyond basic clerical work and develop into a key operations and project-coordination role. Key Responsibilities Project & Office Administration Coordinate project schedules, service calls, inspections, and deadlines Communicate with customers, field technicians, contractors, vendors, and inspectors Track project status and follow up on outstanding items Assist with permits, inspection requests, reports, and project documentation Maintain organized electronic and paper project files Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records Assist with estimates, bids, proposals, and contract documentation Monitor and respond to emails and telephone calls Support general office operations as needed Invoicing & Records Assist with occasional invoices Assist with accounts receivable follow-up Track permits, inspections, approvals, and project closeout documentation Qualifications & Computer Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional telephone and customer-service skills Proficiency with: Microsoft Windows Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft OneDrive Microsoft Teams Internet/web-based applications QuickBooks experience is a preferred plus Experience with electrical/construction contracting, project administration, permits, inspections, scheduling, invoicing, purchasing, or accounts receivable is highly desirable.
