NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). These experienced professionals provide administrative, technical, and professional support to the U.S. Geological Survey U.S. Geological Survey through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

Duties:
Provide comprehensive administrative support services for a 100-person office as part of a larger administrative team. The enrollee will work directly with the Center Administrative Officer to support daily operations, ensure continuity of administrative functions, and provide backup support to other administrative personnel as needed. Deliverables may include, but are not limited to:
- Completed travel documents and reimbursement requests
- Maintained administrative records and reports
- Updated inventory and property accountability documentation
- Budget and timekeeping support records
- Conference room schedules and event coordination support
- Office supply and procurement tracking records
- Front desk and customer service support activities
Administrative Operations Support 60%
Credit Card Management Support 20%
Office and Facilities Support 20%
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Office administration OR AA Degree in Business, administration, accounting or related field
Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat

Physical requirements: This work will require typical office work, sedentary in nature, and use of a computer and telecommunications devices. Communicating during meetings with one or more people is required. Producing digital documents is required.
