Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily operations, enhance office efficiency, and provide exceptional customer service. From managing front desk responsibilities to handling complex scheduling and data entry, you will be the backbone of our office environment, helping us deliver top-tier support internally and externally.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Job description: Medical assistant/ Front desk operations Type of position: non-Exempt Job duties: Front Desk Operations-Answering telephones and patient scheduling
  • Answering all Patient inbound calls with business professional etiquette
  • Schedule all Patient Appointments.
  • Confirm all patient appointments 48 hours prior to the appointment date.
  • Scheduling all patient's follow-up appointments as indicated by providers.
  • Check for any new faxes and address issues as requested.
  • Correspond to medication requests, forms and administrative tasks.
  • Complete patient registration, collect copays, balance and receipts.
  • Complete preauthorization for services and medications as necessary
  • Check any new Patient Registration, create new patient charts and send links for telehealth meetings.
  • Communicate with providers about scheduling/changes in a professional manner.
  • Maintains proficiency in the use of technology to meet administrative needs.
  • Maintain daily logs for calls/inquiries as directed.
  • Monitor patients' status while on site
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment.
  • Serve as liaison with community resources.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator.
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). Prefers 1 year of
CNA/GNA/PCT
experience 2-5 years of secretarial experience. Working knowledge of the general organization and functions of an office setting Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office technology to meet administrative needs. Demonstrated ability to effectively use word processing, database, spreadsheet, and email software. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility. Demonstrated strong human relations skills. Demonstrated proficiency in business math. Capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Developing and implementing front desk best-practices Ensuring high-level of customer service from the front desk team Highest standard of organization, accuracy, and precision in a time sensitive manner Self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve and work independently with little supervision. Manages an office under the direction of an Administrator; trains and supervises staff. Demonstrated ability to manage the office, train, and supervise staff. Demonstrated ability to anticipate work demands and to be pro-active. Demonstrated evidence of continuous professional growth. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
