Responsibilities:

We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to our front office team at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital at Mercy, a busy and patient-focused orthopedic practice. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment where your communication and customer service skills will truly make a difference in the patient experience. Greet and check-in patients with a warm, professional demeanor Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient messages efficiently Handle patient registration and verify insurance information Collect co-pays and process payments accurately Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Monitor and manage provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations Sort and distribute incoming faxes and documents appropriately Maintain a clean, organized front office space Provide exceptional service and support to patients and visitors Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a medical front office setting Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude Familiarity with EPIC and Microsoft Office is a plus Customer service oriented with a commitment to patient care Knowledge of insurance verification, benefits coordination, and the insurance authorization process

USD $21.98/Hr.

Max:

USD $36.27/Hr.
