Job Description

Position Summary Somerset Fire Alarm & Security, LLC is seeking a highly organized, outgoing, and energetic Service Coordinator. The Service Coordinator is a key member of our team and serves as the primary point of contact for customers, technicians, and internal staff. This position is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, assisting with service scheduling and coordination, and helping ensure that daily service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and able to think outside the box. They should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating with customers and technicians, and finding practical solutions when unexpected situations arise. In addition to coordinating service calls and schedules, the Service Coordinator will assist with ordering, tracking, and picking up parts and materials needed for service work. This position requires someone who is willing to take initiative, follow through on tasks, and do what is needed to keep our technicians equipped and our customers taken care of. The right person will be a strong communicator and problem-solver who understands that no two days are exactly alike. A willingness to learn, adapt, and step in wherever needed is essential to success in this role. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming calls Service scheduling and coordination Assist with email management and follow-up communications Coordinate order pick ups, drop offs, and ordering of materials as needed Maintain an updated inventory of all stock Support the executive team as needed Maintain professionalism and strong communication with clients, vendors, and business partners Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, friendly, and confident personality Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling platforms Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities Comfortable interacting face to face and over the phone with an array of individuals Previous administrative or executive support experience preferred Requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic A willingness to learn, adapt, and step in wherever needed What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and family-oriented work environment Opportunity to work directly with company leadership and community partners
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
