Job Description

I am looking for a reliable, organized, proactive, and trustworthy Personal & Family Assistant to help manage a busy household, family schedule, personal projects, rental properties, nonprofit activities, travel, and day-to-day responsibilities. This is a great position for someone who genuinely enjoys organizing, planning, problem-solving, and making life easier for a busy professional and mom. No two weeks will look exactly the same. Some days may involve school pickup, errands, or organizing the house, while others may involve researching a family vacation, coordinating vendors, helping prepare for an event, or creating content for social media. I am looking for someone who can eventually learn how I operate, anticipate what needs to be done, and take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
School pickup/drop-off and occasional transportation to activities Running household errands, returns, grocery pickups, and miscellaneous tasks Light household cleaning, organization, and tidying Helping organize closets, storage areas, children's items, and household systems Assisting with DIY projects and home organization projects Scheduling appointments and managing reminders Researching and coordinating vacations, flights, hotels, activities, and itineraries Coordinating contractors, cleaners, vendors, maintenance appointments, and deliveries Assisting with rental property management and administrative tasks Helping coordinate nonprofit events, fundraisers, vendors, volunteers, and supplies Assisting with event setup and preparation when needed Taking photos/videos and assisting with basic social media content Researching products, services, activities, venues, and other personal requests Maintaining calendars, lists, deadlines, and household priorities Handling miscellaneous personal and administrative projects as they arise Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you are: Extremely organized and detail-oriented Dependable and punctual Comfortable around children Proactive and able to anticipate needs A strong communicator Resourceful and good at figuring things out Comfortable juggling several different types of responsibilities Able to work independently without constant supervision Discreet and respectful of personal and family privacy Comfortable using Google Calendar, email, social media, and common apps Positive, flexible, and willing to jump in where needed Someone who genuinely enjoys planning, organizing, and helping others Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Comfortable transporting a child when needed Smartphone and reliable communication Ability to lift approximately 25-30 lbs when necessary Prior personal assistant, family assistant, nanny, household management, executive assistant, event planning, property management, or similar experience preferred Schedule Approximately 15-20 hours per week to start . The ideal candidate has some flexibility because responsibilities may vary from week to week. Some daytime/afternoon availability will be necessary for school transportation, errands, appointments, and projects. There may occasionally be opportunities for additional hours surrounding events, travel preparation, household projects, or other busy periods. Compensation $22-$28/hour , depending on experience and qualifications. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved work-related driving beyond normal commuting.
