Job Description

Administrative Assistant - Human Resources Department - This is a temporary position for a minimum of 3 months.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for scanning, indexing, and electronically filing employee documents, maintaining accurate records, and providing general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the HR department.
Essential Responsibilities:
Scan, upload, and electronically file employee documents into designated systems. Organize and maintain digital personnel files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Audit electronic files to verify completeness and compliance with company standards. Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee documentation. Enter and update employee information in HR databases and tracking systems. Respond to general inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate HR team members. Prepare, format, and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as needed. Assist with data entry projects and record retention activities. Maintain office supplies and support general administrative functions within the department. Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Prior administrative, clerical, or HR support experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with document management systems and electronic filing preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
