Job Description
Administrative Assistant - Field & Safety Support We are growing commercial painting contractor looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is an in-person position offering a variety of responsibilities, with opportunities to learn and grow within the company. Construction experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, is resourceful, and enjoys solving problems. Responsibilities Process daily field tickets and project documentation Research material pricing, products, vendors, and construction-related information Conduct general internet research and assist with special projects Prepare and support construction submittals and other project documents Organize digital and physical files Provide general administrative support to the office and project managers Visit project sites 1-2 days per week to assist with field coordination, safety documentation, and project support Coordinate business-related tasks such as mail, bank deposits, check pickups, deliveries, and other company needs Qualifications Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently Comfortable working in both an office and construction environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Construction administration experience is a plus To Apply Please include: A brief summary of your experience Any construction-related experience Your Excel skill level Start your proposal with the words "Blue Paint" so we know you read the entire posting.
