Job Description

OHI is seeking a Full Time Senior Administrative Assistant which shall have the following: High School Diploma/GED; three years prior experience in the administrative assistance area Valid Maine drivers' license technological proficiency advanced training in the general area of business with experience in administration. proficiency in typing transcribing and word processing skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. ability to operate all business machines including but not limited to computers, telephone, calculator, copier, scanner and fax machines. competency in written and oral communication. Highly organized. familiarity and skill with the use of social media and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Duties •please reference the job description for more detailed duties 1. Complete the business office opening and closing process each day. 2. Ensure that the telephone system is turned on/off each day in accordance with regular business hours. Adjust the telephone system as directed to account for office closures. 3. Check the telephone system mailbox upon arrival at work each day and distribute messages as indicated. 4. Demonstrate courteous and efficient telephone and receptionist skills, taking accurate messages when required, and distributing the messages in a timely manner. 5. Function as a courteous receptionist for people supported, staff, guests, and visitors. 6. Receive telephone calls and greet visitors in a positive and cordial manner. 7. Use discretion in interrupting meetings and telephone calls. 8. Ensure privacy and confidentiality maintained. 9. Manage OSHA, respiratory protection, and workers comp tasks as directed. 10.
