Department Campus Services Job Summary The Campus Services Associate participates in all areas of the department's daily operations including the copy/print center, the lettershop, and the mail center. Operates and maintains a variety of mailing equipment including, but not limited to, the following: inserters, postage mailing systems, address/barcode/label printers, mail management systems, and database/postal software.
Support Staff:
PAY The hourly range for this position is expected to be: $21.35
•22.00/per hour (Compensation is based on skills and experience.)

Must have computer skills necessary to work with basic Excel spreadsheets; Word software, and database software used for Campus Service operations. This job requires a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidates need to be self-starters who are productive during slower business periods and can work at a quick and efficient pace when it is busy. Good eye/hand coordination necessary. Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents A minimum of one year of experience with various mail or copy/printer center equipment such as inserters, postage meter mailing systems, address/barcode/label printers, mail management systems, database/postal software, high speed printers/copier and wide format printers is preferred. Must have a valid Maine driver's license and be eligible to drive a college vehicle per the Bowdoin College Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications in this posting to be considered for hire. Standard Work Days and Hours Normal schedule is M-F, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half hour unpaid meal break. Some additional hours in the evenings and on weekends may be necessary.
