We have an exciting opportunity within Diodes for an Administrative Assistant. Location South Portland, ME Compensation Pay range $21 to $28/hr. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic considerations. Incentive compensation and benefits may also be available. About the Role As an Administrative Assistant in the exciting world of Semiconductor Manufacturing, you will multi-task and work with cross-functional groups every day, as part of a diverse, skilled, and goal-driven team. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to foster relationships with all levels of the organization, coordinate department resources, and maintain and improve office efficiency. You will create and distribute all levels of internal site communication in support of the intranet, event planning, site collaboration, and the virtual environment. You will also be a go-to person to assist with composing replies for external correspondence. A keen eye for detail is also needed, as the successful candidate will also be tasked with preparing reports and agendas that may require compiling and formatting data from multiple sources. What You ll Do Greet visitors and sign them in upon arrival onsite; act as a security liaison for front entrance of the building Be the go-to person for site-wide inquiries and needs Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies Oversee conference room scheduling and organizational needs, and submit work request orders as needed Edit and send site-wide communications on behalf of various departments Assign and maintain area mailboxes, lockers, cubicles and offices Manage internal and external communications, to include phone calls, emails, and other correspondence Track and order office supplies Compile data from multiple sources and prepare reports and presentations Assist with LMS support by adding or updating site specific courses, classes and tests and resolving user issues Update local intranet informational pages Assist in planning and arranging events; work with caterers and other vendors as needed Assist in purchase order creation and invoicing Manage and facilitate the Local Employee Discount Program Other duties as assigned.
