- South Portland is recruiting an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) to join our fast paced Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine team.
Schedule:
Per Diem Potential additional coverage on an intermittent, as needed basis in the Operating Room may be possible. Participates in the Sports Surgery & Sports Medicine office call rotation. Compensation For internal candidates who currently hold a full-time or part-time role at MaineHealth, the pay rate is 120% of their current hourly rate and may be eligible for shift differentials. For external candidates or candidates who only hold per diem roles at MaineHealth, the rate is $80.00 per hour and may be eligible for shift differentials.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant/Associate or Nurse Practitioner program. Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure. NCCPA certification for Physician Associate/Assistant Current BLS required Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including medical histories, performing evaluations and wellness diagnosis Knowledge of indications for proper techniques for office procedures Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Portland offers the best of urban sophistication combined with small-town friendliness.
