This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, administrative work, and being a key contributor to a collaborative, member-focused environment. As an Insurance Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our insurance team, ensuring exceptional service for our members, and helping maintain accurate, efficient insurance operations. No insurance experience is required, just a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members and support the insurance team with a variety of services and administrative functions, including: Responding to member phone calls and insurance-related service requests Processing billing inquiries and payments Updating addresses and maintaining customer records Providing auto ID cards and evidence of insurance documents Verifying insurance coverage for lenders, mortgage companies, and auto dealerships Monitoring policy cancellations and renewal activity Tracking claims and updating information within our agency management system Reviewing reports to identify renewal opportunities and ensure policies remain current Supporting daily reporting, downloads, communications, and administrative processes Collaborating with sales and service team members to deliver exceptional member experience What We're Looking For Successful candidates will bring: Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort using technology and Microsoft Office applications Problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities A collaborative, team-first mindset Professionalism, integrity, and respect for others Atlantic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous customer service experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Functional with software packages including MS Office and core processing. Ability and willingness to work toward obtaining an insurance license through company-supported training and study resources.
