Client Service Representative Androscoggin Animal Hospital -
Topsham, ME Pay:
up to $20/hr DoE At Androscoggin Animal Hospital , being a Client Service Representative (CSR) means more than answering phones—it means being the welcoming face and calming voice that pet parents count on. You're the connection between loving families and the care their pets need. We're looking for someone who's compassionate, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be an essential part of our team, supporting both our clients and medical staff to ensure every visit feels smooth, warm, and professional.

When You'd Work:
We offer flexible weekday shifts within our business hours (
Mon/Wed/Fri:
8-6,
Tues/Thurs:
8-5). Saturday availability is required on a rotating basis—our Saturday hours are 8-1. ✨
What You'll Do:
Greet clients and their pets with friendliness and professionalism Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments Prepare estimates, invoices, and process payments Maintain an organized, stocked, and welcoming lobby area Support pet owners with compassion during emotional moments Educate clients on wellness plans, food, and retail products Handle data entry, referral records, and client forms Perform opening/closing procedures and end-of-day deposits Triage incoming calls and visits to prioritize patient needs Ensure accurate patient admissions and up-to-date information
What You'll Need:
1-3 years of experience in a veterinary or human medical front desk role (preferred) Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, etc.) Comfort with office equipment (fax, credit card terminal, copier) Basic math skills for handling payments and deposits Familiarity with veterinary terminology and communication practices Clear, calm communication and empathy in high-stress situations Great time management and multitasking skills Positive, team-first attitude—and a love for pets, of course!
