$31.96/hour Ready to play a key role in launching the next generation of automotive manufacturing programs? Join a dynamic team where you'll lead critical project coordination, issue resolution, and launch activities that help bring new vehicle and powertrain programs into production. As a New Model Program Engineer, you'll support the execution of new manufacturing launches by coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, and driving issue resolution. This role focuses on program management, pre-production build support, launch readiness, quality tracking, change management, reporting, and budget coordination. Job DutiesManage new model vehicle and powertrain launch activities from planning through production readiness.Coordinate cross-functional teams to track project milestones, action items, and launch deliverables.
Lead issue identification, tracking, and resolution to ensure on-time program execution.
Oversee pre-production build events and support manufacturing launch readiness activities.
Manage pre-production vehicle fleets, including ordering, testing, evaluation, and disposition.
Coordinate engineering and design change approvals to support successful prototype and production builds.
Facilitate launch meetings and drive resolution of material, part, and production support issues.
Monitor launch budgets, timelines, and program status while preparing reports for leadership.
Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
Support the integration of launch teams and processes into manufacturing operations.
Travel as needed to support plant activities, launch events, and program objectives.
