EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of office experience Experience using PC and/or MAC computers for word processing, spreadsheets and database applications Advanced computer skills, such as creating spreadsheets and forms Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and the public Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be punctual and dependable Ability to maintain confidentiality
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and the public. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent telephone and reception ability. Must be punctual and dependable. Ability to maintain confidential information. Must have a satisfactory evaluation. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with many interruptions. Assume responsibility for records and regular reports, including maintenance of records and files. Assist with enrollment of students. Assist with meeting coordination. Compile monthly newsletter and other parent communication. Assist with special projects as needed. Assist with grant compliance tasks. Other related duties as assigned. This is a full time position, requiring regular reliable and predictable attendance on site to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before parents, staff and students. Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Add, subtract, and multiply and divide in all units of measure.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
