Administrative Assistant Live Well Neurology Auburn Hills, MI Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Athenahealth Customer communication Clinic experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Overview Fast paced neurology and sleep office seeking a Receptionist/Office Assistant to maintain productivity and assist physicians and staff with duties within the practice.
DUTIES:
Answering phones Covering Front Desk/Check Out during lunches/vacations Assist with data entry Filling out forms including disability forms and sending medical records Collecting balances and fees Maintain wait list and fill openings in physicians schedule as they arise Serves patients by answering patients' questions or leaving messages for the doctor to respond and/or scheduling appointments Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and insurance information Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and contribute to improvements when needed Contributes to team effort by accomplishing administrative support functions such as photocopying, faxing, and emailing etc. as needed Filling in for medical assistants as needed (rooming pts, taking vitals, administering cognitive testing, giving prefilled injections, etc) The ideal candidate will have the following required skills: High school diploma or equivalent Effective patient relation skills Communication/Organizational skills Previous experience in a clinical setting, at least 2 years Knowledge of EMR (Athena)
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
