Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Detroit, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating central scheduling operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource allocation across our organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and efficient scheduling systems. Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive scheduling systems and calendars for multiple departments and teams Coordinate scheduling requests from various stakeholders and resolve conflicts to optimize resource allocation Monitor and track schedule adherence, identifying and addressing discrepancies or inefficiencies Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant team members in a timely manner Manage scheduling software and tools, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality Prepare scheduling reports and analytics to support operational decision-making Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand scheduling needs and constraints Maintain detailed records of scheduling activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance scheduling efficiency Provide support and guidance to team members regarding scheduling procedures and policies Qualifications Proven experience in scheduling coordination, administrative support, or related operational roles Proficiency with scheduling software and calendar management systems Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and inefficiencies Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities Preferred experience with project management tools or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
