Applicants should have experience in childcare or working with children ages 3-6. Availability Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM is required, and pay begins at $18/hour . Early Childhood Teacher Assistants work closely with the Class Teacher to create a warm, nurturing classroom environment. Through meaningful and creative experiences, children are supported in deep play, developing social awareness, a sense of wonder, care for others, a connection to nature, and a love of learning. Assistants help guide the rhythm of the day—including transitions, circle time, snack, story, free play, arts and crafts, rest, and outdoor activities. They support children in a calm, purposeful, and loving manner and use a positive, self-aware approach to discipline, with consistent boundaries and deep respect for each child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
