Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our school family! This vital role ensures the smooth operation of daily office functions, providing exceptional support to staff, students, and families. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a proactive attitude to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently. Your expertise in office management, customer service, and technical skills will help foster a productive and welcoming environment. Duties Model Christian values Approach all situations/circumstances from a position of service Manage front office operations including greeting visitors and assisting students with daily needs Operate multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages promptly Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access to important documents Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software with accuracy and speed Support bookkeeping activities such as invoicing, expense tracking, and basic reporting Assist with calendar management for executives or team members to coordinate meetings and appointments efficiently Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries via phone or email, ensuring a positive experience for families and visitors Assist the principal as needed Experience Previous office management or administrative experience in a professional environment is essential Proven clerical skills including filing, proofreading, data entry, and document organization Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools Experience handling multi-line phone systems and managing front office responsibilities in a busy setting Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively Full-time hours during the school year; reduced hours from mid-June to mid-July.
