This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, manages day-to-day office operations, and assists with tax and accounting workflows. Qualifications 2+ years of administrative or office experience preferred. Experience in a CPA firm or professional services environment is a plus. Exhibits effective verbal and written communication skills. Technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Windows operating systems Ability to compete tasks timely and accurately. Ability to answer phones and manage scheduling. Collaborate with staff and partners on multiple projects in multiple locations. Displays an attitude of quality service. Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for clients by greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries professionally. Schedule client appointments and maintain calendars for partners and staff. Scan, upload, organize, and electronically file client records and supporting documentation. Assemble tax returns, financial statements, and other client deliverables for review and distribution. Process incoming and outgoing mail, including certified mail, courier deliveries, and package shipments. Upload and download documents through secure client portals and document management systems. Monitor and track receipt of tax organizers, engagement letters, questionnaires, and requested client information. Coordinate electronic signature requests and assist clients with the signing process. Prepare client packets, engagement letters, and other firm documents. Maintain accurate client records and update contact information within the firm's practice management software. Assist with billing support by processing payments and maintaining billing records. Order, stock, and maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment maintenance and service calls. Maintain reception, conference rooms, kitchen, and common office areas to ensure a professional appearance. Maintain strict confidentiality of client, financial, and personnel information. Provide administrative support to partners, managers, and professional staff on special projects as assigned. Assist with tax season administrative functions, including organizing client files, tracking return status, and preparing completed returns for delivery. Ensure compliance with firm procedures regarding document retention, data security, and client confidentiality. Perform other administrative, clerical, and office support duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the firm.

Full-time Mt Pleasant Location ONLY Monday•Friday (with extended hours January•April)

$15.00•$20.00 per hour
