Check out our website to discover the Tenneco WayThe Administrative Assistant to the VP GM provides high-level administrative and organizational support to ensure the efficient operation of PS NVH. This role manages calendars, coordinates meetings and travel, prepares correspondence and reports, and helps maintain smooth communication across internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the VP GM's calendar, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing appointments

Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, lodging, transportation, and expense reporting

Prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, presentations, reports, and other business documents

Organize meetings by scheduling attendees, preparing agendas and materials, and supporting follow-up on action items

Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the VP GM

Maintain confidential files, records, and sensitive business information with a high level of discretion

Screen and prioritize incoming emails, calls, and requests for timely response or escalation

Support department activities, special projects, and events as needed Track deadlines, priorities, and deliverables to help ensure timely follow-through

Assist with office operations and administrative processes that support the broader leadership team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Prior administrative support experience required, including experience supporting senior leaders or executives Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Experience supporting a vice president or senior executive in a corporate or manufacturing environment

Experience coordinating complex schedules, travel, and leadership meetings

Familiarity with expense reporting systems and internal business processes
