In this role, you will not only design and validate schematics and PCB assemblies, but also actively drive component scouting, parametric benchmarking, and material qualification. You will ensure our designs meet rigorous technical standards while maintaining long-term supply resilience, regulatory compliance, and cost competitiveness. What You Will Do Design, simulate, and review analog, digital, and power supply electronic circuits from concept through mass production. Scout, benchmark, and select new electronic components (microcontrollers, power ICs, passives, connectors, protection devices) aligned with design requirements. Conduct in-depth datasheet analyses, worst-case calculations, and electrical parameter cross-referencing to qualify alternative or second-source parts. Perform hands-on board bring-up, PCB rework/soldering, circuit troubleshooting, and signal integrity validation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and DMMs. Define component qualification test plans, review validation reports, and execute environmental, functional, and electrical stress evaluations. Maintain engineering schematics, bill of materials (BOMs), and component symbol/footprint libraries within PLM and EDA systems. Collaborate with component vendors and manufacturing partners to resolve component obsolescence (EOL), lead-time constraints, and production line yield issues. Document technical design specifications, component approval sheets, engineering change notices (ECN/ECO), and root-cause analysis (8D) reports. What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware/circuit design and component characterization. Solid grasp of circuit theory, analog/digital fundamentals, power supply topologies (LDO, DC-DC buck/boost), and PCB layout design rules. Practical experience using EDA design tools (such as Altium Designer, PADS, or KiCad) for schematics and layout reviews.
Strong hands-on laboratory skills:
fine-pitch SMD soldering, bench troubleshooting, and standard test equipment proficiency. Demonstrated experience evaluating electronic components, qualifying alternative parts, and managing engineering BOMs. Solid technical communication skills to evaluate vendor roadmaps and negotiate technical requirements with component manufacturers. Familiarity with automotive/industrial reliability and compliance standards (such as AEC-Q100/Q200, EMC/EMI, RoHS, or REACH) is a plus.Pay:
