Approximately 25 hours per week Job Description Ray Law International, P.C. is seeking a dependable and organized Temporary Office & Administrative Assistant to assist with a short-term office organization and administrative project at our Michigan office. This is an in-office, temporary position running from approximately October 1, 2026 through December 18, 2026. The position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable handling paperwork, and able to work independently on assigned projects. Bilingual ability in Spanish/English or Japanese/English is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the general organization and cleanup of the office Sorting, organizing, and filing paper and electronic records Organizing files, supplies, storage areas, and workspaces Preparing paperwork and documents for filing with government agencies Assisting with the filing, mailing, and delivery of government-related documents as directed Scanning, copying, labeling, and organizing documents Reviewing files to ensure documents are properly organized Assisting with shredding and proper disposal of outdated or unnecessary documents Performing general administrative and clerical projects Maintaining confidentiality when handling client and firm documents Assisting attorneys and staff with other limited office projects as assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Be dependable, punctual, and organized Have strong attention to detail Be comfortable working with paperwork and administrative files Be able to follow written and verbal instructions Be able to work independently and complete assigned projects Have basic computer skills, including email, scanning, and document management Be comfortable handling confidential information Have a professional and positive attitude Bilingual Spanish/English or Japanese/English skills are strongly preferred Prior office, administrative, or law office experience is helpful but not required.
