Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized administrative/office assistant to join our center's team. The person selected will work closely with our Ministry Coordinator in helping to maintain the daily operations of our community, organized and running smoothly. The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, such as the Board of Trustees, organizational teams, and the general congregation, is essential. In addition, the individual selected helps to create a welcoming environment for everyone participating in our center. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will assist in maintaining high standards of organization and service. This position offers an opportunity to continue to develop your administrative expertise in a supportive setting. Duties and Responsibilities Submitting approved invoices for timely payment. Checking, recording, and filing weekly and monthly documents received from the accounting service. Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization. Prepare material and documents provided by staff, board members, and teams. Compile and distribute information and reports required for monthly board meetings and the annual congregational meeting. Treat confidential information with discretion, ensuring privacy and compliance with center policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, Canva, MailChimp, and computer literacy skills. Experience with various media platforms and the ability to develop, schedule, post, and maintain media presence as requested. Excellent communication skills—written and verbal—as well as strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience in an administrative support role is preferred.
