POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Administrator supports the daily operations of the Service department by coordinating service activities, managing work orders, and serving as a key point of contact for customers. This role ensures efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and timely communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments. The service administrator plays a vital role in maintaining organized service records, processing billing and warranty claims, and helping deliver a high level of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Perform data entry for service contracts (PM and AMI) 2. Finalize and prepare invoices 3. Follow up with technicians on status of work orders to make sure billing is done promptly 4. Communicate with customers regarding service and invoice status 5. Maintain accurate service records (e.g. equipment history and customer files) 6. Support Technicians with administrative needs 7. Communicate and coordinate with the parts and sales departments 8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the Company.
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or GED required 2. Associates degree or technical education is preferred 3. Basic knowledge of shop operations 4. Basic business and financial knowledge 5. Industry and shop terminology knowledge 6. Customer-service experience 7. Experience working in a shop management or service software
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
