Service Operations Job Summary The Service Coordinator supports a select group of service-intensive customer accounts by coordinating service activity, communication, and follow-through. These customers require consistent support to ensure service work is executed efficiently. This role is operations-focused and in-office. It is not a sales role and does not include remote or hybrid work. The Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, dispatch, and service leadership. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for assigned fire alarm inspection and monitoring accounts Coordinate all annual fire alarm inspection Create and maintain all monitoring accounts Communicate service status, scheduling updates, and next steps to customers Reduce misaligned inspections, rework, and incorrect dispatches Track inspections, invoice completed work, and maintain all inspection reports Handles invoicing and closeout processes What This Role Is Not No sales quotas or commission-based compensation No responsibility for large capital project management No technical troubleshooting responsibility No remote or hybrid work option
Qualifications Required:
Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment Experience using CRM, ticketing, or field service management software Ability to manage multiple service activities simultaneously
Preferred:
2-5 years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, account support, or operations roles Experience in a service-based industry (electrical, fire & security, HVAC, low-voltage, industrial service) Familiarity with technician scheduling and service workflows Work Environment This is an in-office, in-person position based in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role involves daily interaction with service managers, dispatch, and technicians. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
