Job Description
Foley Kalseim & Company, Ltd is a CPA firm with 14 professionals. Our main office is on the Lake Elmo/Stillwater border, just east of the Twin Cities. Our mission is to be an innovative leader in bringing value to our clients through our tax, accounting and auditing services. Our team members are provided with competitive compensation, a flexible work schedule and a welcoming work environment. The Office Assistant opening is a part time position in our Lake Elmo, MN office. The schedule during tax season (January to April) is approximately 20-25 hours/week and will require work on 3-4 afternoons/week as well as some Saturdays. The afternoon hours will require availability to work until 5pm and we have flexibility as to the exact days worked. The Saturday work will be from mid-Feb to mid-April for approx. 2-4 hours in the mornings. During the off season (May to December) , hours will decrease to 10-15 hours/week. Hours will be 2-3 afternoons/week and no weekend work is required.
Responsibilities:
Scan and manage client documents in accounting software Assist accountants with various client needs (for example: client phone correspondence, letters to clients, maintaining client portals) Greeting clients and answering phones Other administrative functions as neededRequirements:
Contribute to our welcoming environment through all communication with clients and colleagues Ability to manage multiple priorities on a daily basis Work efficiently under pressure of deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Comfortable learning and navigating new technology including multiple industry specific software programs Self-Motivation and Flexibility; a willingness to wear multiple hats on any given day, to see what needs to be done and make it happen Experience in a financial, professional office setting is preferredJob Type:
