Advent Talent Group is seeking a Food Market Intake Worker for a local nonprofit in Saint Paul, MN. This role supports families experiencing food insecurity by conducting participant intakes, connecting individuals to community resources, assisting with food distribution programs, and maintaining accurate records. Contract Responsibilities Participant Support & Intake Conduct intake interviews for new and returning households accessing food support services Gather participant information and maintain accurate records within Client Track Answer participant questions regarding food access, eligibility, and available resources Provide information about Neighborhood House programs and connect individuals to internal and community services Deliver services with a strong focus on inclusion, accessibility, and hospitality Food Distribution & Operations Support food distribution programs, including Fresh Produce Distributions, CSFP, and special community events Assist participants during food market operations Receive, unload, organize, and stock food deliveries Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance with program requirements Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized market environment Data & Administrative Support Enter participant and program information accurately and timely Assist with data review and cleanup efforts to maintain quality and compliance Support reporting and recordkeeping activities as assigned Team & Community Collaboration Assist with food drives, school supply drives, basic needs events, and other special projects Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure successful program deliver Qualifications 1+ year of experience in customer service, community services, nonprofit organizations, food assistance, intake, human services, or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds Passion for serving individuals and families and connecting community members with available resources Basic computer skills, data entry proficiency, and strong attention to detail Valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred; flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed Eligible employees will enjoy the following benefits with
