Administrative Assistant Nurse (LPN) Southview Acres Healthcare Center - St. Paul, MN Join Our Team at Southview Acres Healthcare Center! Southview Acres Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant Nurse (LPN) to support our clinical leadership team and help ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This position is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys combining clinical knowledge with administrative and organizational responsibilities in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant Nurse (LPN) provides administrative and clinical support to nursing leadership, assists with regulatory compliance, coordinates communication between departments, and helps ensure accurate clinical documentation and record management. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient nursing operations and supporting exceptional resident care. Essential Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership team. Assist with maintaining clinical records, reports, and documentation. Monitor and track required nursing documentation for completeness and compliance. Support employee onboarding, orientation, and education initiatives. Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and call-off management as needed. Prepare reports, audits, meeting materials, and regulatory documentation. Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information. Coordinate communication between nursing departments and interdisciplinary teams. Assist with infection prevention tracking, quality assurance activities, and compliance initiatives. Participate in performance improvement projects and survey preparedness efforts. Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharge processes as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership. Qualifications Current Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of state and federal regulations applicable to long-term care preferred.
