RJI Professionals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Administrative Assistant for our Wyoming, MN office. We are specifically looking for someone with previous administrative experience in roofing, general contracting, construction, restoration, or a similar project-based environment . This is not an entry-level administrative role. We are looking for someone who can bring relevant construction or contracting experience and quickly become productive in our existing workflow. This is an in-office, full-time position supporting our construction, sales, finance, and administrative operations. The right candidate should already understand the pace and documentation requirements of a construction company and be comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Work with cities, counties, and municipalities to obtain building permits and schedule required inspections Maintain project files, registrations, permits, inspection records, and closing documentation Maintain subcontractor documentation and requirements within our CRM Track documentation and follow up on outstanding project requirements Assist with QuickBooks , invoices, payment applications, expense reports, credit-card transactions, and statement reconciliation Assist construction, finance, and sales teams with project-related administrative needs Answer phones and assist customers, vendors, subcontractors, and visitors Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records Perform additional administrative duties as needed in a fast-paced construction environment Preferred Experience & Qualifications Previous administrative experience with a roofing contractor, general contractor, restoration company, or construction company strongly preferred Experience obtaining permits and coordinating municipal inspections Experience working with construction project documentation QuickBooks experience preferred Experience using a CRM or construction/project-management software Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Able to follow established processes while identifying items requiring follow-up Schedule & Location Full-time Monday-Friday In-person Wyoming, MN 55092 This is not a remote position Compensation $19-$25/hour, depending on construction industry experience Benefits Benefits are available to eligible full-time employees.
