Agribusiness Support Specialist T&R Soil Service Full-Time | $25.00-$29.00 per hour Compensation & Benefits Pay depending on experience and qualifications 100% company-paid health insurance for the employee 100% company-funded SEP retirement plan, with strong employer contributions Paid vacation/PTO Paid holidays About the Position T&R Soil Service is looking for a capable, highly organized, and motivated individual to join our team as an Agribusiness Support Specialist . This is a professional, full-time position with responsibility across several important areas of our business, including customer relations, business administration and systems, regulatory compliance, inventory management, point-of-sale entries, social media tasks, and marketing . We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with both people and data . The right person will communicate well, learn quickly, be comfortable with numbers and technology, manage multiple priorities, and independently handle assigned responsibilities without needing constant direction. This position requires more than simply completing assigned tasks. As you learn the business, you'll be expected to anticipate what needs attention, solve problems, follow through, and develop a strong understanding of how your responsibilities fit into the overall operation. We're looking for aptitude as much as experience. You do not need to come in knowing every part of the job. We are looking for someone who is intelligent, dependable, curious, organized, and capable of learning. What You'll DoCustomer Relations & Service Greet and assist walk-in customers Answer the main business phone Assist customers with invoices, payments, orders, and general questions Process customer payments and point-of-sale transactions Research questions and help resolve customer needs Coordinate customer requests with the appropriate team member Provide professional and consistent customer service Business Administration & Systems Prepare and process customer billing Process vendor invoices and supporting documentation Record and apply customer payments Enter and maintain point-of-sale transactions Maintain accurate customer and transaction data Review business records and identify discrepancies Use applicable portions of our AgVance business management system Maintain accurate and organized business records A formal accounting background is not required. However, you should be comfortable working with numbers, data, and business records and understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail. Regulatory Compliance This position will have primary responsibility for T&R's designated ASMARK and DOT compliance requirements .
Responsibilities include:
Maintain required ASMARK and DOT records and documentation Track deadlines, renewals, inspections, and training requirements Maintain required vehicle, driver, facility, and company records Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews Identify upcoming requirements and communicate necessary actions Coordinate compliance needs with management, employees, and outside resources Follow through to ensure required actions are completed Previous ASMARK or DOT experience is beneficial but not required. The ability to learn requirements, stay organized, recognize potential issues, and consistently follow through is more important. Inventory Management Maintain inventory records within company systems Enter product receipts, transfers, returns, sales, and adjustments Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation Research inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate product information and records Help ensure inventory transactions are entered accurately and on time Social Media Tasks & Marketing Develop and schedule company social media content Gather photos, information, and content from throughout the business Communicate seasonal activities, products, services, and company updates Help maintain a consistent and professional company image Assist with customer events and marketing efforts Assist with special projects and tasks as business needs arise Help move approved ideas and projects from concept through completion Who We're Looking For A strong candidate will: Learn quickly and enjoy understanding how things work Think critically and work through problems Be highly organized and attentive to detail Be comfortable with numbers, data, technology, and business systems Communicate confidently and professionally Enjoy interacting with and helping customers Manage multiple responsibilities without losing track of details Take initiative and recognize what needs attention Follow responsibilities and projects through to completion Be comfortable learning new software and systems Adapt to changing priorities and the seasonal nature of agriculture Handle confidential customer and company information professionally Want to understand the business, not simply complete a list of tasks Experience in business administration, customer service, office management, bookkeeping, inventory management, agriculture, regulatory compliance, marketing, communications, or a related field can provide a strong foundation for this position. Experience with AgVance, ASMARK, DOT compliance, agricultural retail, inventory systems, point-of-sale systems, or social media/content creation is beneficial but not required. We don't expect one candidate to know everything on day one. We do expect the successful candidate to have the ability and desire to learn it. Work Environment This is primarily an in-office position at T&R Soil Service with regular interaction with customers and the rest of our team. Why T&R Soil Service? Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
