This role combines frontline client assistance with light administrative coordination to keep accounts organized and clients informed. It is ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized who wants to build a career in individual and family health insurance and client relationship support.
Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Support Respond to client inquiries, requests, and issues via email, chat, phone, and internal platforms. Contact clients proactively when Marketplace documentation is needed, a missed payment is identified, or other issues are detected, and clearly explain required next steps. Take new client information, schedule appointments with agents, and send clear recap emails summarizing next steps. Proactively check in and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify emerging needs, and prevent minor issues from escalating. Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback, answer questions, and schedule appointments with agents. Assist with onboarding new clients by sharing resources, walking them through key processes, and answering initial questions. Coordinate with health insurance agents to resolve client concerns and communicate updates back to clients. Carrier & Vendor Coordination Place calls or send emails to carriers and vendors to confirm eligibility, coverage details, billing issues, and status updates. Scheduling & Coordination Schedule and coordinate client appointments, policy reviews, and key deadlines. During Open Enrollment, schedule client appointments, reserve the conference room, and help manage the appointment calendar. Data, Documentation & Process Improvement Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including contact information, conversation history, and support cases. Document recurring questions, issues, and feedback to help improve internal processes, FAQs, and client-facing resources. Help maintain internal knowledge bases, templates, and workflows related to client support and communication. Qualifications Previous experience in client support, customer service, account coordination, or administrative support (preferred). High attention to detail and accuracy when working with forms, data, and client documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client-friendly demeanor. Comfortable working with Google Suite (especially Sheets and Docs). Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm and solution-focused in challenging client situations. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Interest in learning individual and family health insurance; willingness to pursue an insurance license is a plus.

Job Type Schedule Outside of Open Enrollment:
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Open Enrollment Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (30-minute lunch break). Some flexibility in scheduling is available. This position will gradually grow into a full-time role. As additional hours become available, we will offer them to you, but you will have the flexibility to accept or decline those additional hours based on your availability and needs.
