Aug 4, 2026 Job Description Middle School/High School & Special Education Secretary Osage County R-II School District is seeking a highly organized, professional, and student-centered individual to serve as our Middle School/High School & Special Education Secretary. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping schools operate efficiently. This position serves as a key support person for the middle school and high school offices while also assisting the Director of Special Services with special education programs and services. Responsibilities Include, But are Not Limited to: Supporting the daily operations of the middle school and high school offices. Greeting and assisting students, parents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Managing phone calls, emails, correspondence, and office communications. Maintaining student records and files. Assisting with attendance, enrollment, and other student services. Supporting building administrators with reports, scheduling, purchasing, and other administrative tasks. Helping coordinate school events, activities, and testing programs. Providing administrative support to the Director of Special Services. Assisting with special education records, documentation, scheduling, and compliance requirements. Communicating effectively with staff, families, and outside agencies
SCHOOL SECRETARY
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent Typing and computer skills Prior secretarial/clerical experience preferred
