Job Description

Role Overview Begin building your resume in the Sports Industry with a hands-on internship experience with the St. Joseph Mustangs. As the Front Office Intern, you will play a vital role in managing financial operations and supporting ticket sales, ensuring smooth administrative processes for a successful collegiate summer league baseball team. The Mustangs have consistently ranked in the Top 15 Nationally for attendance for the past 10 years, continuing that tradition in 2026 with an average of 2,600 guests per game. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to develop skills in financial management, accounting, and event support in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Organize and track sponsor contract fulfillment. Generate sponsor invoices and assist with collection processes. Assist with credit card settlement processes and reconciliation. Provide support to front office operations, including ticket sales and customer service during peak times. Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support financial and operational functions. Qualifications Current enrollment in an accredited College or University, with the ability to receive academic credit for the internship. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy service industry environment. Prior experience with accounting software or ticketing systems is a plus, but not required (training provided). Schedule & Commitment This internship runs through the fall semester. Schedule will be agreed upon between the Mustangs and the candidate.
